With so many available and top notch photography studios available all around Atlanta, I knew I had some opportunity to create a private space with unique features. When I decided to convert my bonus room into my private photography studio, there was a long list of things I wanted to include. Modular furniture I can move around and reposition at any time but looks modern and clean, check! A beautiful floor length mirror for my clients to utilize while also expanding light in the studio, check! Mounted backdrops to be able to adapt to any photography request, check check!

I had so much I wanted to do and did do that is all very similar to any studio you may happen to use throughout the city. There are loads, so many that it was intimidating to create my own studio. I, try to my rebellious self wanted to make sure I was standing out in a few ways and here are the four unique features to my photography studio:

Unique Feature 1 – Private Studio

My studio is private in my residence in a very large bonus space with recessed ceilings and loads of light from all the windows. It’s a perfect, personal, private studio space. I do not rent out my studio and it is not open for the public. My photography studio is only available to my clients with a booked session.

I still like to utilize photography studios around the state depending on client request and needs, but it is so wonderful to have my own private studio.

Unique Feature 2 – Amenities Aplenty

I pride myself on having a studio space that is warm and welcoming. That’s why I include the following items to keep you comfortable:

• A stocked fridge with beverages, face masks and waters
• Snacks, teas and special treats for lessons
• A couch and tv area for others attending such as spouses and small children
• Extra diapers and wipes and the like for babies and newborns
• Extra space heater, warming blanket, fans and humidifiers for all our occasions of weather

Unique Feature 3 – Professional Makeup + Hair

As a professional makeup artist for over 20 years ( I still think I’m 20), I can provide this very specific and tailored service to my clients. I do not hire in an artist, I am the artist. From beginning to end, I get to fully help realize your look and know what looks good on camera. I am also an experienced beauty retoucher, so I get to edit my own makeup work after the session which brings even more value to my service. 
I have worked with countless brands, celebrities and production events and have spent the majority of my life getting people ready to be in front of the camera. This is in my blood.
